1. Houston Methodist unveils $700M patient tower this month
Houston Methodist will open its 22-story, $700 million patient tower Aug. 27.

Although it's five-years behind schedule and $1 billion over budget, the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center opened to outpatients July 27 and inpatients Aug. 4. The cost of the project was $1.7 billion.
6. Bayhealth to open $314M replacement hospital in February
Dover, Del.-based Bayhealth will open its $314 million, six-story replacement hospital in Milford, Del., to patients in February 2019.
