Williamson (W.V.) Memorial Hospital will implement a Meditech EHR to unify its patients' medical records on a single system, Williamson Daily News reports.
Three notes:
1. The 76-bed acute care hospital will install Meditech's cloud-based EHR solution Meditech-as-a-Service.
2. Meditech launched MaaS for critical care hospitals in November 2017 and recently made the EHR solution available for community-based health systems.
3. Subscription to MaaS provides hospitals with access to Meditech's web-based EHR Expanse.
"Williamson Memorial Hospital decided to partner with Meditech and use MaaS because it allows all of our hospital portals and systems to be stored in one central location," Williamson Memorial Hospital Co-founder and CEO Charlie Hatfield told Williamson Daily News. "Every department at Williamson Memorial will have access to each patient and be able to look up the necessary files in any situation."
