Who leads Allscripts? 5 execs to know

Chicago-based EHR vendor Allscripts is led by a collection of tech industry veterans and previous healthcare executives.  

Here are five Allscripts executives to know:

1. Paul Black, CEO. Mr. Black joined Allscripts as CEO in 2012 after spending more than 13 years at Kansas City, Mo.-based EHR vendor Cerner, where he held various executive roles before retiring as the company's COO in 2007. Mr. Black also served 16 years as chairman and an executive officer of Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City, Mo.

2. Rick Poulton, president and CFO. Mr. Poulton joined Allscripts in 2012 as CFO to lead the company's financial operations, business development and strategy. He previously served as CFO and treasurer for AAR Corp. and spent more than 10 years at UAL Corp. in financial and business development roles.

3. Elliott Bryant, senior vice president and general manager for classic client solutions. As client solutions chief, Mr. Bryant oversees product development, services, support and solutions management for Allscripts' revenue cycle, enterprise resource planning and surgery software. Mr. Bryant served in similar vice president and general manager roles at McKesson before Allscripts acquired the company's enterprise information solutions business in October 2017.

4. Erikka Buracchio, senior vice president of human resources. Ms. Buracchio brings more than 20 years of management experience at tech companies to her role at Allscripts. She started her career in medical and pharmaceutical sales at companies including Bayer and Teleflex and gained human resources experience at NTT, where she led a team of HR employees.

5. Joe Rostock, senior vice president of development and chief technology officer. Before joining Allscripts, Mr. Rostock served as chief information and technology officer at Comscore, a marketing data and analytics company. He also previously served as CTO at healthcare cloud software provider Inovalon.
