What 3 hospitals are paying for EHR installs

A new EHR system can be a costly installation process for hospitals.

Here is what three hospitals are paying for new EHRs that Becker's has reported on since March 28:

  1. Clinton, Ill.-based Warner Hospital & Health Services is spending $2.3 million of its fiscal 2024 budget on an EHR upgrade.

  2. Morris (Ill.) Hospital & Healthcare Center spent $12 million to install a new Meditech EHR.

  3. St. Louis-based Mercy spent $6.5 million to install Epic at its recently acquired Perryville, Mo.-based Perry County Memorial Hospital.
