Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a manager to oversee its Office of EHR Modernization, according to USA Jobs.
The position, which is in the operations sub-pillar of the CMO for the VA's Office of EHR Modernization, requires managing issues related to the deployment of the agency's new Cerner EHR system on behalf of the CMO.
The VA is scheduled to go-live on the new EHR at initial operating sites in March 2020. The agency established a 10-year contract with Cerner in May 2018 to develop and deploy an EHR across its care network for $16 billion.
The job listing for the position was posted July 24 and applications will be accepted through July 30, according to the report.
