Fort Sill, Okla.-based Reynolds Army Health Clinic is now 100 percent live with EHR system MHS Genesis, according to Sept. 27 reporting from the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
Reynolds Army Health initially installed the Genesis system March 19, and reached 100 percent access with the system in July. MHS Genesis replaced Tricare Online and is slated to be installed at all army health clinics by 2024.
"Like every Military Treatment Facility that has transitioned to using the new military health system Genesis electronic medical record, Reynolds's Army Health Clinic experienced a steep learning curve and significant disruption to our operations," Col. Randall J. Freeman, deputy commander of clinical services, told DVIDS.
