PeraHealth, a predictive clinical surveillance solutions provider, joined Epic's App Orchard. This move allows PeraHealth to use application programming interfaces that enable integration into Epic's EHR platform.
PeraHealth's solution, PeraTrend, offers clinicians a visual dashboard of their patient's condition in real-time. It is powered by the Rothman Index and can be integrated into a provider's existing EHR.
More than 80 hospitals and providers use PeraHealth's real-time, predictive analytics.
Epic Systems officially launched its App Orchard in March. The app store provides a marketplace for third-party developers to showcase pre-approved reporting, visualization and content apps to Epic customers.
