Rochester, Minn.-based OptimizeRx Corp. partnered with Richardson, Texas-based Aprima Medical Software to integrate its financial messaging in the Aprima EHR.
The communication services will alert healthcare providers to potential prescription drug savings and support information for patients.
"Incorporating OptimizeRx into the Aprima EHR helps improve the accuracy, speed and efficiency with which our providers answer patient questions about their prescriptions. In addition, with OptimizeRx, patients can save money on their prescriptions, which is very welcomed in this environment of growing healthcare costs and patient out-of-pocket expenses," said Neil Simon, Aprima COO.
