Chicago-based Northwestern Medicine and Alfardan Medical chose Allscripts' EHR for their ambulatory care services facility in Qatar.
Alfardan Medical in Burj Alfardan, Lusail, and Northwestern will establish the facility in Lusail, and the hospital will install Allscripts' Sunrise EHR, which integrates ambulatory, surgical, radiology and laboratory services on one platform.
"We are pleased to have the opportunity to partner with Alfardan Group and Northwestern Medicine in its new project," Allscripts Global President Alan Fowles said in a news release. "With the help of this new partnership in the Middle East, we can demonstrate the value of Allscripts commitment to open, connected communities of care to its people and across the globe."
