Aitkin, Minn.-based Riverwood Healthcare Center is planning to go live with an Epic EHR system in January, hospital CEO Ken Westwood wrote in aitkinage.com Dec. 22.
The new system will replace the current EHR hosted by Minneapolis, Minn.-based Allina Health. When Epic goes live on Jan. 24, Riverwood Healthcare Center will have an upgraded digital front door.
Riverwood Healthcare Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital with three clinics. Prior to the go-live, patients will need to sign up for the MyChart system.
