Michigan hospital says grant money will be used to pay for EHR

Three Rivers (Mich.) Health said it will use some of the grant money it received from the state to pay for its EHR system, Basin Republican Rustler reported Oct. 26.

The hospital said the money from the grant will eventually have to go to Billings (Mont.) Clinic, as the health system helped Three Rivers Health transition to a new EHR.

This comes as hospital officials said Three Rivers Health ended September with an operating loss of $171,329.
