Medsphere Systems Corp., a provider of healthcare IT solutions and services, acquired HealthLine Solutions, a company focused on creating applications that help users manage healthcare supply chain inventory.
HealthLine's apps use bar coding and RFID technology as well as offer intuitive user interfaces and systems integration. They also provide additional supply chain reporting for specialized clinical functions such as interventional medicine and surgery.
HealthLine's apps are expected to enhance the cloud-based revenue cycle management component of the Medsphere's CareVue EHR solution.
