Westwood, Mass.-based Lawrence General Hospital recently deployed a Meditech Expanse EHR.
Three notes:
1. The hospital worked with Meditech physicians and executives for two years to complete planning and testing for the new EHR prior to its implementation May 1.
2. Lawrence General Hospital serves almost 325,000 patients annually and has nearly 600 local providers.
3. Meditech Expanse is a web-based EHR that features an open workspace and is designed to help hospitals and health systems extend their reach and better connect patient care across the continuum.
