Clinton, Ill.-based Warner Hospital & Health Services is spending $2.3 million of its fiscal 2024 budget to upgrade its EHR system, The Clinton Journal reported April 26.
The EHR upgrade, which will replace the hospital's 10-year-old medical records system, will get the bulk of its $5 million budget for fiscal 2024.
Warner Hospital & Health Services did not mention which EHR vendor it would be switching to.
"This is an important investment because it will give the providers more time with patients and take less time trying to access this information for the patient," Paul Skowron, CEO of Warner Hospital & Health Services, told the Journal.
