Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare is seeking out clinical informatics experts that can help install the health system's new Meditech Expanse EHR system.
IT services company CereCore will be in charge of recruiting hundreds of clinical informatics experts to implement Meditech Expanse at HCA Healthcare, according to a May 16 press release from CereCore.
On Nov. 8, HCA said it would do a large-scale implementation of the new EHR system so that clinicians could have access to a mobile user interface personalized to their workflows, embedded clinical decision support and tools such as surveillance to help provide care at the bedside.
Marty Paslick, senior vice president and CIO of HCA Healthcare, said it has begun implementing the new system across its divisions.
