Montana Rep. Matt Rosendale has been appointed as chair of the House Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Technology Modernization, overseeing the Oracle Cerner EHR installation and VA IT issues, Fedscoop reported Jan. 30.
During the last session of Congress, Mr. Rosendale was the subcommittee ranking member and was involved in the agency's EHR modernization program.
The subcommittee has legislative and investigative oversight over the VA's enterprise technology programs.
