Cerner created 50 new jobs at its operation in Dublin, most of which are focused on research and development as well as the management of its European clients' data, according to Silicon Republic.
The new positions are part of Cerner's Dublin-based intellectual property development team, and will focus on developing advanced predictive algorithms for the company's population health platform, HealtheIntentSM.
Cerner, which has had an operation in Ireland since 2007, will recruit software engineers, software architects, designers and data visualisation developers for the new positions.
"The expansion of our R&D team in Dublin will allow us to develop new intelligence on our HealtheIntentSM platform and continue to enable the shift to value-based care for populations through delivering outcomes one person at a time," Aiden Malone, Cerner's senior director of European consulting, told Silicon Republic.
