Simon Mouyal will serve as chief marketing officer of athenahealth, the Watertown, Mass.-based EHR vendor announced Aug. 19.
Three things to know:
1. Most recently, Mr. Mouyal was CMO at Medidata Solutions, which focuses on data platforms for life sciences.
2. Mr. Mouyal has 20 years of technology and cloud computing experience, with eight years spent working in various marketing and sales roles for Microsoft's cloud business.
3. In 2017, the Association of National Advertisers named Mr. Mouyal corporate marketer of the year. He also received the 2017 MarCom Gold Award for Strategic Communications Marketing.
