Nashville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health Services has restored access to its Epic EHR system after a Nov. 23 ransomware attack temporarily halted access to the application.
Ardent also said it has restored access to other essential clinical and business systems but is still actively working to bring the remaining systems back online, according to a Dec. 6 update on the organization's website.
Additionally, patient care in hospitals, emergency rooms and clinics continues, and emergency rooms have begun to accept patients by ambulance. Some nonurgent procedures are still being paused.
