Allscripts Developer Program adds interoperability startup founded by former Epic engineers

Allscripts has certified Redox, a healthcare data interoperability startup founded by three former Epic engineers, as the first global integration engine of the Allscripts Developer Program.

Through ADP, Allscripts offers application programming interfaces to connect third-party apps, devices and other healthcare technologies with Allscripts products.

Redox provides a single, global connection to Allscripts Unity APIs that health IT vendors can use to integrate and exchange data with approved Allscripts client sites.

Redox also offers an interoperable network that allows healthcare organizations, payers, pharmaceutical companies and technology providers to share healthcare data. By joining ADP, Redox Interoperability Network members will automatically be eligible for Allscripts Unity API access.

Founded in 2017 by former Epic engineers, Redox now works with more than 235 digital health vendors to securely exchange health data from more than 40 different EHR platforms.
