Marysville, Calif.-based Adventist Health + Rideout deployed a Cerner EHR system Aug. 18.
The new EHR launched system wide, transferring health records from the hospital and outpatient clinics onto the same system, Rick Rawson, Adventist Health + Rideout president, said in an emailed statement to Becker's Hospital Review.
By switching to Cerner, the hospital is now on the same EHR system as Adventist Health in Roseville, Calif., which has been using Cerner for 20 years. Rideout affiliated with Adventist Health in April 2018.
For the first two weeks of the EHR go-live, an estimated 690 Adventist Health and Cerner people are providing on-site support to ensure a smooth transition, Mr. Rawson said.
