Epic signed six new hospital contracts outside of the U.S. in 2017, more than doubling its growing market share in those regions, according to KLAS Research report.
For the report, the health IT research firm analyzed hospital EMR contracts signed in 2017. The report focuses on hospitals outside of the U.S., including those in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Canada.
Here are 10 multiregional EHR vendors ranked by the number of beds contracted outside of the U.S., followed by the total number of new contracts the vendor signed, in 2017:
1. Epic: 16,631 beds contracted (six new contracts)
