Retail and pharmacy giant Walgreens is expanding its same-day delivery service to fulfill orders 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in select markets.
The service is available at nearly 400 Walgreens locations across the country. Over-the-counter medication is available as part of the same-day service, according to a Dec. 1 Walgreens news release.
Additionally, the company is offering same-day delivery services for prescription medications after a patient's prescription has been filled.
"Walgreens knows that taking care of health and wellbeing isn't exclusive to business hours and that needs can pop up at any time of day. That's why we're always looking for ways to enhance the customer experience with convenient and trusted solutions," Stefanie Kruse, group vice president of digital commerce at Walgreens, said.
