Amazon continues to grow its healthcare business, even as the tech giant pulls back in other areas.
Here are six healthcare-related job openings Amazon has posted in the past month:
1. Data Scientist II, Population Health, Amazon: Will oversee the development and implementation of data integration and analytic strategies to support population health initiatives.
2. Staff Pharmacist, Amazon Pharmacy: Will be responsible for acquiring new or existing Amazon Pharmacy customer prescriptions from prescribers and pharmacies and providing clinical guidance to prescribers on medication therapy regimens.
3. Senior Strategic Sales Specialist, Healthcare, Amazon Business: Will help build solutions that drive incremental value to healthcare customers.
4. Senior Customer Advisor, Amazon Business Healthcare, Amazon Business: Will be responsible for building and managing a territory of customers, focused on selling solutions for common industry problems.
5. IT Support Technician, Pharmacy IT Services, Amazon Pharmacy: Will work with Amazon Pharmacy teams to provide and support the IT equipment and services they need.
6. Pharmacy Technician, Fulfillment, Amazon Pharmacy: Will assist the pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy, and work daily with leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right packets.
