A Kansas health system that is part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare has rebranded its women's healthcare services, Wichita Business Journal reported.
That service line at Wichita, Kan.-based Wesley Healthcare will now be called Wesley Women's Hospital, according to the May 17 story. The health system said it wants the brand to be known as more than just "the baby hospital." It births more babies — more than 5,000 a year — than any hospital in a 13-state area.
"The Wesley Women's Hospital brand highlights Wesley's recognized position as a leader in women's care, from the first gynecology visit through pregnancy, menopause management and beyond," Wesley President and CEO Bill Voloch stated to the news outlet. "Our team of experts truly understands the unique needs of women, and delivers the care, resources, services and support they need to live life to the fullest."
Wesley Women's Hospital will comprise such women's care specialties as OB-GYN, breast and pelvic health, fertility, oncology, cardiology, surgery and weight loss, according to the report.
