Tuscaloosa-based University of Alabama Medical Center has partnered with digital health company Ceras Health to monitor patients 65 and older.
Through the partnership, the health system will use Ceras' digital devices to monitor patients with chronic conditions. The agreement aims to address rural health disparities across Alabama, according to a Dec. 13 Ceras news release.
In the future, the University of Alabama and Ceras plan to expand upon the partnership with research, development opportunities, academic courses and program offerings.
