GE HealthCare launched a digital tool that provides clinicians with data surrounding the history of a patient's heart and guideline-directed insight for clinical decision support.
CardioVisio for Atrial Fibrillation provides multiple data sources to help clinicians visualize longitudinal data relevant for disease progression. Additionally, the tool aims to save clinicians time in the decision-making process by offering support directed by the Afib guidelines and offering therapy recommendations.
"With CardioVisio for AFib, we're providing cardiologists with a powerful tool that streamlines clinician image interpretation and provides a view of the history of a patient's heart as well as their healthcare journey, including previous diagnoses, prescribed medications, interventions and comorbidities," Eigil Samset, PhD, general manager of GE HealthCare's cardiology care area, said in the release.
The tool is available in the U.S. and will be showcased in Amsterdam at the European Society of Cardiology Congress 2023 from Aug. 25-28, according to the release.
