IT leaders from CommonSpirit, HCA Healthcare and Sutter Health have been appointed as council members to health tech company Augmedix's AI Advisory Council.
The council members will gather to discuss AI medical note-taking and professional societies that contribute to government and industrial policies governing AI in healthcare, according to a Sept. 21 news release from Augmedix.
The following healthcare executives will spend 18 months on the council:
- Albert Chan, MD, chief digital health officer of Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health
- John Chelico, MD, system chief medical information officer for Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health
- John Doulis, MD, vice president of data services and technology innovation at Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare
- Lisa Rotenstein, MD, medical director of population health at Boston-based Brigham and Women's Hospital
- Alex Stinard, MD, healthcare information technology consultant at HCA Healthcare
