CSO.com reported a list of the six ways to manage cybersecurity risk during M&A on April 3:
- Assess the cybersecurity situation before the acquisition.
- Test the cybersecurity skills of the target company's employees.
- Understand the target company's data risk.
- Focus on IT security improvements early into the process.
- Make sure the target company has implemented security measures into its software.
- Require a security assessment of the target company.
