Toronto-based North York General Hospital selected cybersecurity providers Thales and Identos to improve the secure exchange of information between physicians, staff and patients at the facility.
Identos will provide North York General Hospital with an encryption-as-a-service security platform to protect data and transactions on mobile devices, including those between providers and patients. The platform is integrated with Thales' hardware-based encryption technology to manage device security.
Through the integration of Thales and Identos technologies, North York General Hospital aims to enable secure and timely communication between patients and hospital staff.
