Protenus named Brian Holtmeier its CFO, the healthcare analytics platform confirmed June 6.
Protenus uses behavioral analytics to monitor activity within EHRs to identify anomalous behaviors. The platform aims to support compliance among hospitals' employees.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Holtmeier:
1. Prior to joining Protenus, Mr. Holtmeier spent 15 years in financial and accounting roles at IBM. He most recently served as CFO of IBM Security Systems.
2. He also previously served as CFO of the IBM-acquired software-as-a-service marketing automation company SilverPop and as assistant controller for IBM North America.
3. Mr. Holtmeier holds an MBA from New York University in New York City and a bachelor's degree in finance from Clemson University in South Carolina.
