Wilmington, Del.-based Henrietta Johnson Medical Center is notifying patients of exposure to Delaware Health Network's data breach.
Delaware Health Network is an EHR management provider. The network reported on April 5 that an unauthorized individual accessed its systems and was able to copy specific files.
On May 22, Delaware Health Network told Henrietta Johnson Medical Center that some of its patient data may have been impacted.
In a June 27 filing with HHS, the hospital reported 500 affected individuals from the hacking incident.
Affected patient data includes full name, date of birth, ethnicity, medical record number, diagnosis code, lab information and health insurance information.
