Fifty percent of the most common passwords in the U.S. are also among the most hacked passwords, according to SafetyDetectives.com.
The cybersecurity firm analyzed more than 18 million passwords worldwide for its report on the most used and hacked passwords. The firm tapped multiple resources including password cracking program John The Ripper and Github, to develop its report.
