Compensation for practice management professionals remained static since last year, according to MGMA's Management Compensation Survey: 2010 Report Based on 2009 Data, according to an MGMA release.
Though compensation remained generally static for practice management professionals, assistant administrators, COOs, office managers, human resources directors and nursing services directors experienced salary increases.
Administrators with seven to 25 full-time-equivalent physicians earned 0.3 percent less, while their counterparts with 26 or more FTE physicians reported a 2.3 compensation increase.
Executive managers who identified as MGMA or American College of Medical Practice Executives members enjoyed increased compensation.
