Health System CEO Salaries Range by $1M in Ohio

The compensation of hospital system CEOs in Columbus, Ohio, differs by approximately $1 million, according to a Columbus Business First report.

According to the latest available data from 2009, the highest paid chief in the city was Dave Blom, CEO of OhioHealth, who received $1.8 million. Approximately $675,000 was deferred compensation.

Steve Allen of Nationwide Children's Hospital follows at $1.2 million, Chris von Zychlin of Mount Carmel Health System at $788,000 and The Ohio State University Medical Center's Steven Gabbe, MD, at $776,000.
