Bill Walker, CEO of Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge, Ga., recently received a 3 percent salary hike and a 10 percent bonus, according to a Post-Searchlight report.
Mr. Walker's compensation now stands at $192,100, according to the report. Memorial Hospital and Manor includes an 80-bed acute-care hospital and a 107-bed long-term care facility.
Board members justified Mr. Walker's pay increase, saying he is still "by far the lowest-paid administrator for a hospital of our size, 100 beds or fewer, in the state of Georgia," according to the report.
