The board of directors for Washington Hospital Healthcare System in Fremont, Calif., has approved a new contract for CEO Nancy Farber, according to a Bay Area News Group report.
Ms. Farber's contract runs four years, and her base salary for each year will be more than $650,000, according to the report. Including incentives and other stipends, her total compensation reached more than $912,000 in 2010.
Ms. Farber will also receive six weeks vacation and a new car every three years, covered by the hospital, which was mirrored in her previous contract.
Washington Hospital Healthcare System falls within the Washington Township Health Care District and includes the 389-bed Washington Hospital.
