4 CEOs of Hospitals in Grand Rapids Earn Combined $4.6M

In 2011, the CEOs of the four main hospitals and health systems in the Grand Rapids, Mich., region made more than $4.6 million in cumulative compensation, according to an Mlive.com report.

Richard Breon, president and CEO of Spectrum Health, earned the most at $2.1 million. Mike Faas, president and CEO of Metro Health in Wyoming, Mich., ranked just behind at $1.4 million.

Mercy Health Saint Mary's CEO and CEO Philip McCorkle Jr. made $700,000, while Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital CEO Kent Riddle received $390,000, according to the report.
