Virtua, a four-hospital health system based in Marlton, N.J., has been growing rapidly over the past several years, and the system includes three of the highest-paid healthcare executives in the Philadelphia region, according to a Philadelphia Inquirer report.
Of the Philadelphia area's 10 highest-paid hospital and health system executives in 2010, based on salary and incentives, three were based at Virtua: CEO Richard Miller, former President and COO Ninfa Saunders and CMO James Dwyer, DO.
Here are the salary and incentive figures of the three Virtua executives:
• Richard Miller: $1.06 million in base salary, $1.93 million in incentives
• Ninfa Saunders: $788,790 in base salary, $889,762 in incentives
• Dr. James Dwyer: $452,252 in base salary, $858,580 in incentives
