Fresno, Calif., is the city with the most physician pay growth, according to a study from Doximity, a social network for clinicians.
For the study, researchers examined data from Doximity's self-reported compensation surveys of about 70,000 full-time, licensed U.S. physicians between 2017 and 2018.
Here are the 10 cities where compensation for physicians grew the most year over year, according to the study.
1. Fresno, Calif. — 15 percent
2. New Orleans — 15 percent
3. Fayetteville, Ark. — 13 percent
4. Albany, N.Y. — 13 percent
5. Baltimore — 12 percent
6. New Haven, Conn. — 12 percent
7. Dallas — 9 percent
8. Albuquerque, N.M. — 8 percent
9. El Paso, Texas — 8 percent
