The Health Research and Services Administration's NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program is accepting 2013 applications through the end of February, according to an AHA News Now report.
The program helps registered and advance practice nurses as well as nurse faculty repay their education loans. Nurses accepted in the program must then commit to work in a hospital with a critical shortage of nurses or at an accredited nursing school for two years.
The program reserved up to half of its funding specifically for nurse practitioners.
