March is National Nutrition Month. To honor this occasion, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has rolled out a new healthy eating test, called the MyPlate, MyWins Challenge.
The challenge encourages individuals to make small, easy changes in their eating and activity habits to build an overall healthier lifestyle. The USDA encourages individuals to participate alone or with a team online. Participants can also send challenges to team mates, including friends, family and coworkers.
"The MyPlate, MyWins Challenge is a fun and social way to encourage better health, with support from people around us and a little friendly competition," said Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack. "We hope people will take the two-day challenge and realize how easy it is to make small, healthy changes, and then keep the momentum going beyond just those two days."
