U.S. News & World Report evaluated 779 hospitals across the country and found the top heart center in every state.
The ranking, published August, used data from Medicare and other sources to find the top hospitals in 12 specialities.
Hospitals were ranked on treating heart and vascular cases, including heart transplants, implantation of cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators, major chest procedures and patients with cardiovascular disease and other complex conditions such as endocarditis, heart failure and circulatory issues.
