Deb Kiser, RN, BSN, was named executive lead of the new cardiovascular partnership between Dayton, Ohio-based Premier Health and The Christ Hospital Health Network.
The partnership, which took effect July 1, is a foundation for a series of clinical initiatives that will launch in 2024, including specialized procedures to become available at Premier Health hospitals.
Ms. Kiser has a wealth of experience in nursing and healthcare process improvement. She previously served as heart and vascular service line director at Columbus-based OhioHealth, and executive director of quality and clinical services at Lucid Health, a clinically integrated network of radiology practices.
"Deb's proven leadership will advance our two health systems' focus on expanding access to cardiovascular expertise rather than duplicating services," Premier Health Chief Clinical Officer Keith Bricking, MD, said in a Dec. 19 news release.
The Christ Hospital Health Network and Premier Health collaboration aims to improve the availability of heart and vascular services at the two health systems while limiting the need for additional building and ensuring responsible stewardship of healthcare resources.
Premier Health includes five hospitals and more than 130 outpatient locations and affiliated primary care and specialty physician offices. The Christ Hospital Health Network comprises an acute care hospital located in Cincinnati, a remote hospital location in Liberty Township, Ohio, five outpatient centers and dozens of medical offices across the region.
