Olean General Hospital completed its cath lab upgrades, Olean Times Herald reported Nov. 13.
The interventional cardiac catheterization lab reopened after a five-week renovation and upgrade project.
"We are pleased to continue to provide advanced cardiac procedures close to home," Christopher Mallavarapu, MD, medical director of cardiology, said in the report. "With this new technology and experienced team of cardiologists, clinical and nonclinical staff, the community is in great hands for cardiac care."
