A recent Becker's poll found treatment options were the greatest hidden opportunity to grow in cardiology.
The poll, posted last December, had four options to choose from and received 286 responses. Here were the results of the poll:
Treatment options: 58%
Services: 22%
Staffing: 17%
Other: 3%
Some participants commented that cardiology fellowship programs, robotics and workflow were opportunities for growth. One commenter also emphasized the combination of services and treatment options, citing cardiac rehabilitation as one underutilized but valuable option.
