Orlando-based University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Davie-based HCA Florida Healthcare have launched a cardiovascular disease fellowship, marking the 40th program to be offered through the partnership's Graduate Medical Education Consortium.
The program is slated to begin in July and is accepting applications. It is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and will be based at the HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, according to a Sept. 24 news release from the university.
Three fellows will be accepted each year to the three-year program, for a total of nine positions.
