Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health System has selected Abhishek Singh, MD, PhD, to lead its advanced heart failure program.
Dr. Singh, who is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, will serve as medical director at the health system's heart success program, which cares for advanced heart failure patients.
He specializes in the co-management of advanced and complicated heart failure, and pulmonary hypertension patients, according to a May 25 announcement.
Before joining Atlantic Health System, Dr. Singh was an attending physician at Bethlehem, Pa.-based St. Luke's University Hospital and Philadelphia-based Temple University Hospital. He joined the hospitals in 2016, and also served as an adjunct assistant professor at Temple University's medical school.
Dr. Singh earned his medical degree at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, N.J., and completed his residency at UC San Francisco.
