Jan Skowronski, MD, started the Fortuna Clinical Foundation for Ukraine after opening his home in Poland to refugees.
"Sometimes in life things happen, and you feel compelled to do things," Dr. Skowronski told 6 WBRC. "Just looking at the degree of tragedy in Ukraine. I just could not sit idle and felt we really needed to do something as a community in Alabama.”
