Florida-based AdventHealth Tampa has revealed a $2 million investment in GE Allia and Carrot Medical technology for its catheterization lab, according to a Sept. 14 news release shared with Becker's.
According to GE, the technology is only used in two other locations in the state of Florida, and 14 other locations in the United States.
The cath lab control room also includes special monitoring units from Carrot Medical which are only found in two other locations in the country. The new system allows all monitoring to happen on one large screen, integrating into one system instead of multiple monitors and systems.
